BoardWALK workshops are offered monthly at Lawrence Technological University, 21000 West 10 Mile Road Southfield, MI 48075, October – May. All workshops are held on Fridays from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Room 218, Buell Management Building, Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI.
An engaging introduction to the board’s role in financial accountability and strategies for providing financial oversight.
BoardWALK is a series of affordable workshops designed to energize the performance of nonprofit board members and the staff who work with them. Workshops are conducted by experienced professionals in classes small enough to ensure individual attention. BoardWALK is offered through a partnership of United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Detroit Executive Services Corps, AFP-Greater Detroit Chapter, and the Center for Nonprofit Management at Lawrence Technological University.
