This grant enables the National Parent Union (NPU) to continue its partnership with the Skillman Foundation in expanding the work and impact of Campaigns to Elevate Authentic Community Voice, a Detroit-based project. Centering equity in their work, NPU will be able to continue to support parents who have lived experience to share their authentic voices and to serve as advocates and organizers who engage, educate and support families to bring about transformation in the education system.
