This grant will support Surge Institute in expanding its Detroit-based organizational capacity to contribute to the cultivation, expansion, and alignment of educator networks across Detroit to center educators’ voices in educational policy transformation. Surge Institute will enhance its capacity and infrastructure as the organization builds the individual and collective power of educators in service of the Detroit educational ecosystem.
